In the first video, I break down the posture and shapes in the hips, we then add on drills to get your heart pumping and the moves into your body. Join me for a dance filled hour that will have you bellydancing in no time. This class is perfect for beginners or first-timers. We dance to traditional and modern Middle Eastern music in this class. I strongly believe that the fundamental movements in bellydance are THE most beautiful and powerful in the bellydance repertoire. Circles, figure eights, and undulations connect us to the flow of the dance while strengthening our lower backs, and elongating the spine. Shimmies, hip twists, locks, and drops energize the body and lift your heart rate.
