8. Healthy Knees
Learn practices to balance, stretch, & strengthen supporting structures of the knees, to create alignment and stability in the knee joint, for both your dancing and your daily life. We will look at the key relationship between hip, knee,& foot, with mat & standing practices to open hips & legs, and align the knees. You will learn basic anatomy and Deb Rubin’s unique Fascia approach to understanding and balancing the belly dance body—the basis of her Dance Therapeutics Training Program. Class includes Dance Therapeutics mat sequence, standing dance prep, and ATS dancing.
